Our client a leading international manufacturing company, is looking to hire a maintenance fitter to join their team, whose primary focus is to ensure maximum uptime through planned and preventative maintenance.

Operating on a bi-weekly shift basis with one week being Monday to Friday days and the second one Monday to Thursday evening shift.

The role will require someone with previous maintenance experience in mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, ensuring maximum reliability and uptime across site assets.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment faults efficiently, working independently and in collaboration with OEMs, contractors, and suppliers as required.
  • Promote a strong safety-first culture, ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and statutory regulations.
  • Utilise the CMMS system to plan, record, and manage preventative, reactive, and project-related maintenance activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain effective communication with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to drive operational performance.

Minimum requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in fitting/maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Right to work in Ireland, candidates must already be living here.
  • Available to work shifts as described above – due to the times, own transport will be needed to get to and from work
