The Client
Our client is a multi-site residential and healthcare provider operating a portfolio of care facilities, with an active agenda of acquisitions, new-facility development and site redevelopment as it scales nationally.

A qualified accountant and proven multi-site finance leader who can fund expansion, drive EBITDA and keep a complex, heavily regulated healthcare group financially sound
Responsibilities
Strategy & planning: set the long-term financial strategy supporting M&A, acquisitions and site redevelopment; lead multi-site modelling, forecasting and capital allocation within debt-servicing limits.
Funding & revenue: negotiate high-value funding agreements with the HSE, NTPF, local councils and private payors; optimise mixed revenue across Fair Deal, private and high-dependency care; manage working capital and cash flow.
Operations & team: direct the central finance function (billing, credit control, AP, payroll); standardise procedures across facilities; mentor and scale the team; drive ERP and reporting automation.
Governance & risk: ensure tax, statutory and healthcare-specific compliance; coordinate audits and act as principal regulator liaison; enforce internal controls against fraud and waste.
Board reporting: present financial evaluations and strategic risk assessments directly to the Board of Directors
Minimum requirements
- Qualified accountant – active registration with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA
- 5-8 years at Finance Director or CFO level within a high-volume, multi-site business.

- Familiarity with healthcare funding models and strong stakeholder negotiation skills (lenders, health boards, Board)
What’s on offer
- Competitive salary of €140,000-€150,000 pro-rata, depending on experience
- 6-month interim contract, with the possibility of extension
- A high-impact mandate leading the finance function of a scaling, multi-site healthcare group
