Role Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified and reliable Plumber to join the facilities team on a permanent basis at a leading manufacturing and laboratory facility in North Dublin.

This is a varied, hands-on role within a dynamic, technically advanced environment where no two days are the same.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of plumbing, maintenance, and general site support duties, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building services.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general plumbing maintenance and repair works across the site.
• Repair and maintain sanitary facilities, including toilet repairs, seat replacements, and clearing minor blockages (major drainage issues managed by specialist contractors).
• Maintain and service taps, boilers, gas boilers, water heaters, and circulation pumps.
• Support routine temperature monitoring and water treatment system maintenance.
• Perform daily building inspections and general facilities maintenance tasks.
• Provide general maintenance and labour support as required to meet operational needs.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Plumber with recognised trade certification.
• Proven experience in plumbing maintenance, facilities management, or a similar environment.

Desirable Requirements

• Gas certification.
• Experience working with deionised (DI) water systems.
• Familiarity with a range of piping systems, including:
  • Chemical-resistant pipework
  • DI water systems
  • Waste and drainage systems

Working Environment

This role is based within a busy manufacturing and laboratory facility. The successful candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and capable of working independently while supporting a wider facilities team in maintaining high operational standards.
