The Opportunity

Noel Group is currently partnering with a long-established and highly regarded Irish food manufacturing business to recruit a Business Development Manager for the Cork and Kerry region.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation with a strong reputation across the foodservice and hospitality sectors. The successful candidate will inherit an established territory while also being responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across the region.

The role would suit an ambitious sales professional who enjoys managing their own territory, building long-term customer relationships and delivering commercial growth.

The Role

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and developing existing customer relationships throughout Cork and Kerry.

  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities across the foodservice and hospitality sectors.

  • Conducting regular customer visits, account reviews and business development activities.

  • Increasing product penetration and revenue within existing accounts.

  • Building long-term relationships with key decision-makers and becoming a trusted business partner.

The role offers a high degree of autonomy and would suit someone who enjoys being customer-facing and managing their own diary and territory.

Typical Customers

You will be engaging with customers across a broad range of sectors, including:

  • Hotels and hotel groups

  • Restaurants and cafés

  • Takeaways and fast-casual operators

  • Catering companies

  • Food manufacturers

  • Foodservice distributors

Candidate Profile

Applications are welcomed from candidates with experience in:

  • Business Development or Account Management.

  • FMCG, foodservice or hospitality sales.

  • Food manufacturing or distribution environments.

  • Territory management and new business acquisition.

  • Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships.

Strong communication skills, commercial awareness and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
