Role: Junior Sous Chef
Location: Wexford
Salary: €45,000
The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a Junior Sous Chef in Wexford.
The Role

Support the senior kitchen team in managing daily kitchen operations.

Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.

Help maintain smooth service during busy operational periods.

Assist in leading and motivating the kitchen team.
-
Support the delivery of high culinary standards at all times.
The Duties

Prepare, cook, and present dishes to company standards.

Assist with stock control, ordering, and waste management.
-
Supervise junior chefs and provide guidance during service.
-
Ensure HACCP, hygiene, and food safety procedures are followed.

Support menu development and seasonal dish planning.
-
Assist with staff training and kitchen organisation.
-
Maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency across all kitchen sections.

Step into leadership duties in the absence of senior chefs.
Requirements
-
Must have experience in Hospitality.
-
Must have experience in the same role or be ready to step forward in the career.
-
Previous experience as Junior Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie experience required.

Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety compliance.
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
-
Strong leadership and communication skills.
-
Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI.
