Job Description
We are currently recruiting Chefs (all levels) for flexible, temporary roles based in Kilkenny, offering Monday to Friday work and daytime shifts.
No late nights
Day shifts (typically 7:00am – 3:00pm)
Better work-life balance
This is an excellent opportunity for chefs looking to step away from long hours and weekend work while still gaining strong kitchen experience.
About the Role
You will work across a variety of professional kitchens, including contract catering and hospitality sites.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
- Supporting daily kitchen operations
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
- Assisting with food preparation and service
- Working independently and as part of a team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef (Commis, CDP, or above)
- Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen standards
- Ability to work in a busy kitchen environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Flexibility and willingness to work across different sites
A driving licence and access to a car is a strong advantage, but not essential.
