Automation Engineer

Noel Group are looking to hire an Automation Engineer, on behalf of our manufacturing client based in Co Meath.

In this role you will work closely with project managers to help automate systems used across manufacturing.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement automation solutions for new and existing manufacturing equipment
• Work closely with the maintenance teams to help fix issues that arise as a result of automation changes
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including manuals, schematics, and SOPs
• Travel other manufacturing sites in Europe as required

Minimum requirements:

• Degree or apprenticeship in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Automation or similar
• 3+ years of automation with the manufacturing industry
• Strong communication in English (written and spoken)
• Capability in PLC programming / SCADA or similar
