Role: Restaurant Head Chef
Location: Cork City
Salary: €50,000
The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a Restaurant Head Chef in Cork.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a new restaurant opening and lead the kitchen operation from launch. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Irish seafood and fish cuisine, a passion for high-quality food, and the ability to build and develop a successful kitchen team.
The Duties
- Oversee daily food preparation and service.
- Manage kitchen staffing levels and rotas.
- Monitor food quality and customer satisfaction.
- Control kitchen budgets and minimise waste.
- Maintain excellent hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Train and develop junior chefs and kitchen staff.
- Ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations at all times.
- Support menu planning and new dish development.
Requirements
- Must have experience in Hospitality.
- Must have experience in the same role or be ready to step forward in their career.
- Strong experience working with Irish seafood and fish-focused menus.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI.
- Visa and Relocation packages are not provided.
