Role: Executive Head Chef
Location: Athlone
Salary: €80,000 per annum + Accommodation
The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an Executive Head Chef in Athlone.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished culinary leader to take ownership of a high-performing kitchen operation, driving innovation, consistency, and excellence across all food offerings. The successful candidate will lead and inspire the kitchen team while ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and the highest food quality standards.
The Duties

Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and consistency.

Develop innovative seasonal menus that reflect current food trends and customer expectations.

Manage, motivate, and mentor the kitchen brigade, creating a positive and high-performing culture.

Control food costs, labour costs, and departmental budgets while maintaining profitability.

Oversee purchasing, supplier relationships, stock control, and inventory management.

Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety legislation, and health & safety regulations.

Collaborate with senior management to develop business strategies and enhance the overall guest experience.

Plan and execute banquets, events, and special functions to the highest standards.

Implement training and development programs for kitchen staff.

Monitor kitchen performance through KPIs and continuously improve operational efficiency.

Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation, and equipment maintenance.

Drive creativity and innovation while ensuring commercial success.
The Must Requirements to Be Considered

Must have experience in Hospitality.

Must have experience in the same role or be ready to step forward in their career from a senior leadership kitchen position.

Proven experience leading large kitchen teams within busy hotel, restaurant, or hospitality operations.

Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety legislation, and kitchen compliance standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, food costs, and labour costs effectively.

Passion for menu development, creativity, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards.

Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI.
