The Noel Group is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Conference & Banqueting Manager on behalf of a well-established 4-star hotel in Naas, Co. Kildare.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional events and guest experiences. The successful candidate will lead the Conference & Banqueting operation, overseeing corporate events, conferences, banquets, and special occasions while ensuring the highest standards of service and operational excellence.

Responsibilities of a Conference & Banqueting Manager:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Conference & Banqueting department.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Coordinate and oversee all events from planning through to execution.
  • Work closely with the Sales, Events, Kitchen, and Hotel Operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of customer service, presentation, and attention to detail.
  • Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and labour costs in line with business requirements.
  • Monitor departmental budgets, costs, and revenue performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and company standards.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact for event delivery.

Requirements of a Conference & Banqueting Manager:

  • Previous experience in a Conference & Banqueting Management role or similar within a hotel environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a busy setting.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A hands-on management style with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Strong commercial awareness and experience managing departmental budgets and KPIs.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak event periods as required
