The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an experienced Sous Chef in Co. Cork.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented culinary professional to join a well-established hospitality operation known for its high food standards, strong kitchen culture, and exceptional guest experience. The successful candidate will support the Head Chef in the day-to-day management of the kitchen while ensuring consistency, creativity, and operational excellence throughout service.

The Duties

  • Support the Head Chef in the daily management of kitchen operations.
  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in line with company standards.
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff during service periods.
  • Assist with menu planning, food development, and daily specials.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control standards.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure HACCP compliance and maintain all food safety procedures.
  • Assist with staff training, mentoring, and development.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Support cost control and minimise food waste where possible.

The Must Requirements to Be Considered

  • Must have experience in Hospitality.
  • Must have experience in the same role or be ready to step forward in their career.
  • Previous experience working within a busy professional kitchen environment.
  • Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to lead and motivate kitchen teams during busy service periods.
  • Passion for food quality, creativity, and operational excellence.
  • Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI.
  • Visa and relocation packages are not provided.

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary: €45,000 per annum negotiable depending on experience.
