About the Role:
Noel Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager on behalf of a leading hotel client in Galway. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hospitality sales professional to join a well-established property within a respected hotel collection.
The successful candidate will focus on developing Corporate, MICE, and Group business while promoting Galway as a key destination. This role is ideal for someone passionate about hotel sales, relationship management, and long-term career progression within the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities
- Maximise hotel revenue through negotiation of corporate rates and MICE/group proposals
- Build, manage, and maintain an effective sales pipeline targeting key market segments
- Manage key accounts and develop new business opportunities across Corporate, MICE, and Group sectors
- Complete a minimum of 10 client appointments weekly and maintain accurate SFDC pipeline reporting
- Conduct outside sales calls with existing and prospective clients
- Coordinate and facilitate hotel site inspections and client entertainment activities
- Develop strong relationships with Corporate Planners, DMCs, and MICE industry contacts
- Represent the hotel at relevant trade fairs and networking events
- Maintain strong awareness of competitor activity and market trends
- Assist in the development and execution of quarterly sales action plans alongside the Director of Sales & Marketing
Key Requirements
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a hotel sales role
- Strong understanding of Corporate, MICE, and Group market segments
- Full clean Irish driver’s licence required
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Commercially aware with strong relationship-building abilities
- Resourceful, proactive, and solutions-focused approach
- Must be authorised to work in Ireland (visa sponsorship is not available)
