Job Title: Duty Manager

Reports To: General Manager / Deputy Manager

Noel Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established 4-star hotel client in Cork for an experienced and dependable Duty Manager to join their management team.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day management of the hotel across food & beverage, front office, accommodation, and guest services while ensuring the highest standards of customer care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager and Deputy Manager in the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel
- Assist in overseeing all departments including food & beverage, reception, accommodation, and kitchen operations
- Ensure efficient and professional service standards are maintained at all times, particularly during busy periods
- Deliver and promote exceptional customer service across all areas of the hotel
- Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring positive outcomes wherever possible
- Complete all required operational, security, and departmental checklists
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and security for guests and staff
- Provide operational support across departments as required
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by management
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Duty Manager role within a 4-star hotel environment
- At least 3 years’ experience in food & beverage operations within hospitality
- A qualification in Hotel Management or a related discipline would be advantageous
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about guest satisfaction and delivering high service standards
- Flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and varied shifts
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
