Role Overview

The hotel is seeking an experienced Head of Maintenance Manager to oversee all installation, repair, and upkeep operations across the Hotel, Gym, and Car Park. The successful candidate will implement a cost-effective, energy-efficient preventative maintenance plan and ensure a safe working environment throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all plant and equipment, ensuring safe working order at all times
  • Manage maintenance schedules and budgets
  • Ensure all faults are promptly dealt with by competent registered contractors
  • Liaise with the General Manager to prioritise daily maintenance work
  • Run a preventive maintenance programme to minimise long-term service costs
  • Maintain all certificates of compliance in line with relevant legislatio
  • Manage the upkeep of the Hotel, Gym, and Car Park (internal and external
  • Record daily maintenance activities and run an efficient repairs reporting system
  • Respond quickly to emergencies
  • Adhere to all Fire, Safety, and Hygiene regulations and Health & Safety at Work Act
  • Work in accordance with the Hotel’s Safety Statement
  • Attend training programmes as required by Management

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience in a similar maintenance management role within a hotel environment (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, plant, and facilities management
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage schedules and budgets
  • Professional approach when dealing with internal and external queries
  • Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and compliance requirements
