Head Chef
Kilquade, Wicklow
Salary: €50,000 per annum
Working Hours: Mostly 7:00am – 3:30pm

The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an experienced Head Chef for a well-established hospitality venue based in Kilquade, Co. Wicklow.

As Head Chef, you will take full responsibility for the kitchen operation, leading the culinary team to deliver consistently high-quality food and service standards.

You will oversee menu planning, kitchen management, staff leadership, stock control, food safety compliance, and daily kitchen operations while ensuring an efficient and positive working environment. The successful candidate will bring creativity, leadership, and strong organisational skills to the role.

This position would suit an experienced Head Chef or a strong Sous Chef ready to take the next step in their culinary career.

The Duties

  • Oversee the daily operation of the kitchen and food service.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the kitchen team.
  • Ensure consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop menus and seasonal food offerings.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Monitor food costs and minimise waste.
  • Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Support staff training and development within the kitchen team.
  • Work collaboratively with management to drive operational success.

The Must Requirements to be Considered

  • Must have experience in Hospitality.
  • Must have experience in the same role or be ready to step forward in the career.
  • Previous experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a busy hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and kitchen management experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality food and service.
  • Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI.
  • Visa and Relocation packages are not provided.
