The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an experienced Deli Manager for a busy and customer-focused retail food operation based in Bishopstown, Cork.

As Deli Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a busy deli department, ensuring high standards across food quality, hygiene, customer service, and team performance.

You will lead and motivate the deli team while maintaining excellent operational standards, stock control, and profitability. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales, improving customer experience, and ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations.

This role would suit an experienced Deli Manager or an ambitious Supervisor/Assistant Manager looking to progress their career within a fast-paced hospitality and retail food environment.

The Duties

• Manage the daily operations of the deli department.
• Lead, train, and motivate the deli team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation standards are maintained.
• Monitor stock levels, ordering, and waste control procedures.
• Drive sales and profitability through effective merchandising and promotions.
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the department.
• Handle customer queries and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development initiatives.

The Must Requirements to be Considered

• Must have experience in Hospitality.
• Must have experience in the same role or be ready to step forward in the career.
• Previous experience within deli, food retail, catering, or hospitality management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.
• Commercially aware with strong organisational skills.
• Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI.
• Visa and Relocation packages are not provided.
