The Noel Group is currently recruiting a Senior Events Executive on behalf of a well-established 4-star hotel. This role is suited to an experienced hospitality professional with a strong background in coordinating both corporate and social events from initial enquiry through to successful delivery.

The successful candidate will act as the main liaison for clients, while working closely with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure events are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities of a Senior Events Executive:

  • Liaise with operational departments including banqueting, catering, housekeeping, and AV teams
  • Manage client communications and maintain strong relationships throughout the event process
  • Prepare customised event proposals in line with client requirements and budgets
  • Respond effectively to schedule changes and last-minute event updates
  • Oversee multiple events at once, ensuring timelines, contracts, and budgets are accurately managed
  • Promote additional services such as catering options, accommodation packages, and AV support
  • Coordinate with suppliers and clients regarding pricing, quotations, and invoicing
  • Monitor event profitability and manage event-related P&Ls
  • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring room layouts, dietary requests, and schedules are accurate
  • Resolve operational issues promptly using sound judgement and practical solutions
  • Ensure all events operate in line with hotel procedures and deliver a positive guest experience

Requirements of a Senior Events Executive:

  • Previous experience in hotel events or hospitality event coordination is essential
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively in a busy environment
  • Professional and approachable manner
  • Experience using hotel PMS systems (Opera preferred), event software, and familiarity with AV coordination
  • Good understanding of hospitality service standards and guest experience
  • Knowledge of event marketing or social media promotion would be beneficial
  • Comfortable working with a diverse international client base
