Noel Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a luxury four-star hotel resort in Co. Laois for an experienced Mixologist to join the Food & Beverage team.

Set within the scenic Laois countryside, this well-established property is recognised for its high standards of hospitality, premium guest experience, and extensive leisure facilities including a luxury spa, health club, bars, and dining outlets.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional with strong cocktail and beverage knowledge who enjoys working in a high-quality, guest-focused environment. The successful candidate will play a key role within the bar team, delivering exceptional beverage service while creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere for guests.

Responsibilities of a Mixologist:

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of cocktails, beverages, wines and spirits to a high standard
  • Deliver professional and attentive guest service at all times
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of cocktail recipes, premium spirits, wines and current beverage trends
  • Assist in developing seasonal cocktails and beverage offerings
  • Ensure bar areas are clean, organised and fully stocked throughout service
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with stock control procedures and stock takes
  • Follow all HACCP, health & safety and responsible service procedures
  • Handle cash and till procedures in line with company policy
  • Work closely with the Food & Beverage management team to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Maintain high presentation and grooming standards at all times
  • Assist with beverage service during events, conferences and banqueting functions when required
  • Contribute positively to the wider team environment and guest experience

Requirements of a Mixologist:

  • Previous experience as a Mixologist, Cocktail Bartender or Senior Bartender within a hotel or high-quality bar environment
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines and beverage service standards
  • Excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy hospitality environment
  • Professional, reliable and well organised approach to work
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy service periods
