We are currently recruiting a Mobile Deli Assistant / Catering Assistant for a part-time temporary role based out of New Ross. This is a mobile position where you will travel to different client locations, so the ability to drive is required.
The role suits someone with deli and till experience who enjoys customer-facing work and can adapt to different hospitality settings.
Till (cashier) experience is essential for this role.
About the Role
As a Mobile Deli Assistant, your duties will include:
- Working across multiple client deli locations
- Serving customers at deli counters
- Preparing sandwiches, hot food, and deli items
- Operating the till and handling cash/card payments accurately
- Providing friendly, professional customer service
- Maintaining food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
- Replenishing stock and keeping displays presentable
- Supporting general catering assistant duties as required
Essential Requirements
The following are required:
- Previous experience as a Deli Assistant or Catering Assistant
- Till / cashier experience
- Ability to travel between different client locations
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible
A driving licence and access to a car are required due to the mobile nature of the role.
