About the Role:
Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious 5-star luxury resort, part of an internationally renowned collection of boutique properties, to recruit an experienced Deputy General Manager. This is a senior leadership opportunity within a high-performing, award-winning property recognised for exceptional service standards and guest experience.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing all hotel operations, with particular focus on Food & Beverage. This position requires a strong leader with a passion for luxury hospitality, operational excellence, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the hotel, ensuring seamless operations across all departments
- Provide strategic leadership with a strong focus on Food & Beverage operations
- Drive exceptional guest experiences in line with 5-star luxury standards
- Ensure all departments adhere to SOPs, service excellence, and presentation standards
- Manage guest communications, queries, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor and enhance overall guest satisfaction and service delivery
- Oversee financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Optimise operational efficiency through effective rostering and resource management
- Drive revenue growth through upselling initiatives and team engagement
- Collaborate closely with Events and Food & Beverage teams to enhance guest offerings
- Lead, motivate, and develop teams, fostering a positive and high-performance culture
- Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation including Health & Safety, Food Safety, and employment laws
- Act as senior decision-maker in the absence of the General Manager
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related discipline
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a senior management or director-level role within a 5-star luxury hotel or resort
- Strong background in Food & Beverage leadership within a luxury environment
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences and manage high-performing teams
- In-depth knowledge of luxury service standards, hotel operations, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Professional, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
- Must have full eligibility to live and work in Ireland
