About the Role:

Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious 5-star luxury resort, part of an internationally renowned collection of boutique properties, to recruit an experienced Deputy General Manager. This is a senior leadership opportunity within a high-performing, award-winning property recognised for exceptional service standards and guest experience.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing all hotel operations, with particular focus on Food & Beverage. This position requires a strong leader with a passion for luxury hospitality, operational excellence, and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the hotel, ensuring seamless operations across all departments
  • Provide strategic leadership with a strong focus on Food & Beverage operations
  • Drive exceptional guest experiences in line with 5-star luxury standards
  • Ensure all departments adhere to SOPs, service excellence, and presentation standards
  • Manage guest communications, queries, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Monitor and enhance overall guest satisfaction and service delivery
  • Oversee financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Optimise operational efficiency through effective rostering and resource management
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling initiatives and team engagement
  • Collaborate closely with Events and Food & Beverage teams to enhance guest offerings
  • Lead, motivate, and develop teams, fostering a positive and high-performance culture
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation including Health & Safety, Food Safety, and employment laws
  • Act as senior decision-maker in the absence of the General Manager

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a senior management or director-level role within a 5-star luxury hotel or resort
  • Strong background in Food & Beverage leadership within a luxury environment
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences and manage high-performing teams
  • In-depth knowledge of luxury service standards, hotel operations, and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
  • Must have full eligibility to live and work in Ireland
