The Noel Group is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established hotel client for an experienced and motivated Hotel Sales Manager to support the continued growth of the business.

This role is responsible for driving revenue through proactive sales activity, developing strong client relationships, and identifying new commercial opportunities across key market segments.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, the Sales Manager will play a key role in positioning the property within both the local and wider market, delivering agreed sales targets and supporting long-term business objectives.

Responsibilities of a Hotel Sales Manager:

  • Develop and identify new business opportunities, particularly within the local corporate and conference markets
  • Work towards a set weekly target of client appointments
  • Manage an agreed portfolio of accounts, with responsibility for their development and revenue performance
  • Conduct market research and analyse competitor strategies across transient and group segments
  • Carry out competitor analysis including rates, packages, and key account activity
  • Maintain and grow existing client relationships while actively networking to secure new business both in Ireland and overseas
  • Track all declined and lost leads for potential future opportunities

Requirments of a Hotel Sales Manager:

  • Minimum of 2 yearsexperience in a similar sales role within the hotel or hospitality sector
  • Full clean drivers licence and access to own transport
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive, proactive approach
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to high standards
  • Self-motivated with the ability to demonstrate leadership capabilities
  • Experience in setting and managing annual sales budgets
