Duty Manager – Conference & Banqueting
Location: Killarney, Co. Kerry
Salary: €40,000 per annum

The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an experienced and driven Duty Manager – Conference & Banqueting in the vibrant town of Killarney.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, high-performing hotel property known for delivering exceptional guest experiences across weddings, conferences, and large-scale events.As Duty Manager with a focus on Conference & Banqueting, you will play a key role in the seamless delivery of events and day-to-day hotel operations. You will oversee service standards, lead teams during busy functions, and ensure all guest expectations are consistently exceeded. You will work closely with senior management and department heads to drive operational excellence, manage service delivery, and maintain the highest standards across all C&B activities.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of conference and banqueting services
• Lead and motivate front-of-house and events teams to deliver exceptional service
• Ensure all events are executed to the highest standard, from setup through to service
• Act as the main point of contact during functions, ensuring smooth coordination across departments
• Maintain strict adherence to health & safety and hygiene standards
• Support rostering, staffing levels, and labour cost control
• Handle guest queries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
• Assist with the overall running of the hotel during duty management shifts

Requirements (Essential):

• Must have experience in hospitality
• Must have experience in a similar role or be ready to step forward in your career
• Strong knowledge of conference and banqueting operations
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI
• Visa and relocation packages are not provided
