Job Title: Painter / Maintenance Painter (Residential & Commercial Properties)
Location: Dublin / Leinster (multi-site)
Salary: €50,000 – €55,000 per year + Bonus
Employment Type: Permanent

Overview of Role

We are seeking an experienced Painter / Decorator to support ongoing property maintenance works across a portfolio of residential and communal properties. The role focuses primarily on redecoration between tenancies, with clear scheduling of upcoming unit availability, allowing for structured and efficient workflow planning.

The position also includes general painting and upkeep of communal and shared areas within occupied and vacant properties as required.

This is a straightforward, high-volume role with consistent workflow and a strong pipeline of available work. A solid candidate pool is expected due to the accessible nature of the role and ongoing demand in the sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out painting and decorating works between tenant occupancies
  • Prepare surfaces including sanding, filling, priming, and sealing
  • Repaint residential units to a high standard within turnaround timelines
  • Undertake general maintenance painting in communal areas (hallways, stairwells, entrances, etc.)
  • Ensure properties are left in a clean, presentable condition after works
  • Work across multiple sites efficiently and independently
  • Liaise with scheduling/coordination teams regarding upcoming unit availability
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle in good working order
  • Adhere to all site safety and property access requirements

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Painter / Decorator (residential or commercial)
  • Strong ability to work independently and manage time across multiple locations
  • Own van (essential) for travel between sites
  • Good attention to detail and finish quality
  • Ability to work to deadlines, particularly in tenancy turnaround environments
  • Basic understanding of health & safety practices on-site
  • Reliability and strong work ethic
