Junior Project Planner

Job description

We are working with a leading provider or engineering and construction services to data centres and the pharma sector. Due to growth, they are looking to hire a Junior Project Planner to join their office based team.

It is an excellent opportunity for someone who has previous project planning/coordination experience in a similar industry who is looking for an opportunity to learn more and get exposed to some exciting projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate project timelines, resources, and milestones in collaboration with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Track progress, identify potential risks or delays, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present progress reports, forecasts, and performance updates to internal teams and clients.
• Support tendering and project initiation processes with planning and scheduling expertise.

Minimum requirements

• Irish driving license
• Living in the general Kilkenny catchment area (or reasonable commute to)
• Proven experience as a Project Planner within the construction, engineering, or related sectors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
• Proficient with project manager software such as P6, MS project or similar

What’s on offer?
