Team Leader (Dayshift) – Manufacturing

Location: Co. Kildare Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: Depending on Experience

Why This Role?

This is a genuine leadership opportunity within a well-established, modern MDF Mouldings production facility in Co. Kildare. You will be managing a tight team of 4 to 6 people on dayshift hours with no rotating shifts, working Monday to Friday in a facility that holds ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and FSC accreditations. What You Will Be Doing:

Leading, motivating, and directing your team to deliver smooth daily operations and consistent quality output. Championing health and safety across every shift, ensuring compliance and setting the standard for your team to follow. Building proficiency across all production lines so you can step in, support, and problem-solve wherever needed. Working closely with the Operations Manager to drive continuous improvement and operational innovation across the facility.

What You Need:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment (essential). Proven ability to manage, motivate, and hold a team accountable to production targets. Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise confidently across departments and with senior management. NEBOSH or IOSH certification in Health and Safety Management is a distinct advantage. A full, clean driving licence (essential, as own transport is required). Must be based in or within commutable distance of Co. Kildare. Flexibility around occasional overtime when production demands it.
