Head Chef
Location: Tipperary (15km from Limerick City Centre)
Salary: €65,000 + Benefits

The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an experienced Head Chef for a well-established, high-performing gastropub located in Tipperary, just 15km from Limerick City Centre.

As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the overall management of the kitchen, including menu development, team leadership, food quality, and operational efficiency.

You will lead a team of 4 chefs and 2 Kitchen Porters, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times while fostering a positive and productive kitchen culture.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and inspire the kitchen team to deliver high-quality food consistently
• Design and develop seasonal menus with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients
• Maintain strict food hygiene and health & safety standards in line with HACCP regulations
• Control food costs, labour costs, and kitchen budgets effectively
• Manage stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
• Ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations during busy service periods
• Train, mentor, and develop junior team members
• Work closely with front-of-house management to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements – To Be Considered

• Must have experience in hospitality
• Must have previous experience as a Head Chef or be a strong Sous Chef ready to step up
• Proven ability to lead and manage a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of cost control, menu planning, and kitchen operations
• Passion for high-quality food and innovation within a gastropub setting
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI
• Visa and relocation packages are not provided
