Chef (Full-Time, Temporary) – MUST Have Driving Licence & Own Car – Cork

We are recruiting an experienced Chef for a full-time temporary role supporting various hospitality clients across Cork. This position requires travel to multiple sites, so a valid driving licence and your own car are essential. Candidates without a car cannot be considered for this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys variety, new environments, and flexible placement across different kitchens.

About the Role

You will work with a range of clients, including hotels, restaurants, events, cafés, and catering operations. Duties may include:

• Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes
• Supporting day-to-day kitchen operations
• Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
• Assisting with menu preparation and service
• Working both independently and as part of a team
• Adapting to different kitchen environments and service styles

This role suits a reliable, confident chef who is comfortable stepping into new kitchens and delivering excellent standards.

Essential Requirements

These are mandatory – no exceptions:

• Full, clean driving licence
• Access to your own car every day
• Ability to travel across Cork as required

Candidates must meet all three requirements to be considered.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Chef (Commis, Chef de Partie, Senior Chef, etc.)
• Strong understanding of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen hygiene
• Ability to work efficiently in busy kitchens
• Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude
• Ability to adapt quickly to new teams and environments
