Job Title: Chef de Partie

Location: Ballincollig, County Cork

Role Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Reports To: Head Chef / Sous Chef

About the Role:

Noel Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Chef de Partie on behalf of a well-established and busy hotel property in Ballincollig, Co. Cork. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated culinary professional to join a dynamic kitchen team focused on delivering high-quality food and consistent service standards.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the preparation and presentation of dishes meet the highest standards while maintaining efficiency during service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your designated section to a consistently high standard
  • Ensure timely delivery of food during service periods
  • Maintain excellent hygiene and food safety standards in line with HACCP requirements
  • Monitor portion control and minimise waste
  • Assist with stock rotation, ordering, and inventory control as required
  • Support senior chefs with menu preparation and daily kitchen operations
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is used and maintained correctly
  • Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
  • Adhere to all health & safety and company policies

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar Chef de Partie role or strong experience at Demi Chef level
  • HACCP certification and a solid understanding of food safety practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and passion for food quality
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Professional attitude and reliability
