Hospitality Warehouse & Kitchen Assistant – Cork

We are currently recruiting a Temporary Warehouse & Kitchen Operations Assistant for a leading hospitality company based in Cork. This role is ideal for someone with experience in hospitality, kitchen support, or catering operations who enjoys hands-on, organised work in a busy back-of-house environment.

This is not an industrial warehouse job. The role is closer to a kitchen assistant / catering support position, focused on washing, preparing, and packing hospitality equipment used for events.

About the Role

You will support the turnaround and preparation of equipment for events. Duties include:

• Washing, polishing, and sanitising cutlery, crockery, glassware, and catering equipment
• Picking and packing items accurately for upcoming events
• Checking returned stock to ensure everything is cleaned and complete
• Organising equipment in the warehouse for efficient access
• Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in wash and preparation areas
• Assisting with loading/unloading equipment for deliveries
• Supporting the team to meet event schedules and deadlines

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in hospitality, kitchen assisting, catering support, or hospitality-related warehouse work
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering clean, organised equipment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team
• Comfortable working in a busy and hands-on environment
• Ability to follow procedures and handle equipment safely
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
