Head Chef – Gastropub
Location: Galway
Salary: €70,000 per annum
The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an experienced Head Chef for a highly regarded gastropub in Galway.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and commercially driven culinary professional to lead the kitchen of a busy, quality-led venue known for its seasonal menus and strong local reputation. The successful candidate will take full ownership of the kitchen operation, leading a talented brigade while delivering consistently high standards of food quality, creativity, and service.

They are seeking a Head Chef who can bring strong leadership, menu innovation, and operational expertise to drive the continued success of the business.
The Duties
* Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation
* Develop seasonal menus that align with the gastropub concept, focusing on fresh, locally sourced ingredients
* Manage and mentor the kitchen team, creating a positive and high-performing working environment
* Oversee stock control, purchasing, and supplier relationships to ensure cost efficiency and product quality
* Maintain strict compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety regulations
* Monitor kitchen budgets, food costs, and wastage to ensure financial targets are met
* Collaborate with management to enhance the overall guest dining experience
* Ensure smooth daily service operations and maintain consistency during high-volume periods
The Must Requirements to Be Considered
* Proven experience working within the hospitality industry
* Previous experience as a Head Chef or a strong Sous Chef ready to take the next step in their career
* Strong leadership and team management skills within a busy kitchen environment
* Experience managing food cost, menu development, and kitchen operations
* A passion for high-quality food and delivering exceptional dining experiences
* Living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland
* Visa and relocation packages are not provided
