The Noel Group are proud to be recruiting a Bar Manager on behalf of a premium gastropub, renowned for their high-quality food, stylish interior and creative cocktail menu.
The ideal candidate would have excellent operational experience and can ensure that all customers receive a memorable experience, while also running a top-notch team with efficiency and high levels of motivation.
Responsibilities of a Bar Manager:
- Oversee daily bar operations, including opening and closing routines
- Supervise, coach, and develop the front-of-house staff
- Manage stock levels, place orders, and liaise with suppliers
- Ensure full compliance with licensing laws, food safety standards, and employment regulations
- Maintain high service standards and address customer concerns in a professional manner
- Assist with promotions, events, and seasonal menu initiatives
- Handle cash management, POS balancing, and operational reporting
Requirements for a Bar Manager:
- 3+ years’ experience working in a similar Bar Management or supervisory role
- Very good staff management, supervisory experience
- Ability to seamlessly work with the Kitchen, Floor Staff, and GM
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy seasonal periods
