Job Title: Sous Chef
Location: Ennis, Co. Clare
Salary: €50,000 per annum

The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to recruit a Sous Chef for an exceptional culinary establishment in Ennis, Co. Clare.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate chef to join a high-performing kitchen team focused on delivering an outstanding dining experience. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operation, maintaining the highest culinary standards, and leading the brigade to deliver exceptional quality and consistency.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in the daily management of kitchen operations.

  • Lead and supervise the kitchen team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality dishes.

  • Maintain the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen hygiene.

  • Assist with menu development, seasonal offerings, and innovative dish creation.

  • Oversee stock management, ordering, and cost control within the kitchen.

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

  • Train, mentor, and develop junior members of the kitchen team.

  • Step in to lead the kitchen operation in the absence of the Head Chef.

  • Work closely with front-of-house teams to ensure a seamless guest dining experience.

Requirements to be Considered

  • Luxury hotel or Michelin-starred kitchen background is essential.

  • Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or a strong Senior Chef de Partie ready to progress.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of professional kitchen operations and food standards.

  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-end culinary environment.

  • Passion for high-quality cuisine, presentation, and innovation.

  • Living in Ireland and have the right to work in ROI.

  • Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
