An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the management team of a busy and well-established 4-star hotel in Co.Kildare. This is a full-time position offering excellent career development within a supportive hospitality group.
The Role
This is a full-time role, working an average of 45 hours per week, 5 days over 7, including weekends and public holidays.
Key Responsibilities

Assist senior management in supervising food & beverage operations across the hotel’s restaurant, bars, and conference/function areas

Lead, motivate and support a team of approximately 25-30 staff members
-
Ensure high standards of service are maintained at all times

Liaise closely with the kitchen team regarding menus and food service

Support operations during functions, conferences and events
-
Assist with weekly stocktakes, rostering, and departmental administration
-
Support staff training and development
-
Drive sales initiatives in conjunction with the in-house sales team
-
Cover duty management shifts across the hotel when required
-
Work closely with the wider hotel management team on daily operational needs
Requirements
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor in a busy 3*/4* hotel

Strong background and knowledge of food & beverage operations
-
HACCP trained
-
Excellent people management and leadership skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Customer-focused with a hands-on approach

Ability to multi-task and assist in all operational areas when required

Experience in conference & banqueting and events is desirable

Experience using hotel front office systems is an advantage

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Fluent English, both written and spoken

Flexible, enthusiastic and willing to learn
