Noel Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Cluster Financial Controller on behalf of a well-established hospitality client operating a cluster of three hotels in Dublin City Centre. In this role, you will take full responsibility for the finance function across three properties, ensuring robust financial management, accurate reporting, and strong commercial oversight.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused finance leader to join a high-performing hospitality group and play a key role within the senior management team. The successful candidate will partner closely with the General Manager and operational leaders to drive financial performance, strengthen controls, and support strategic growth across the cluster.
Responsibilities of a Cluster Financial Controller:
- Present financial updates to senior stakeholders, outlining current and forecasted business performance, risks, and opportunities
- Play a key role in the preparation and review of the annual business plan
- Produce monthly and annual financial reports, analysing results, trends, and forecasts
- Contribute proactively to overall property and cost management strategies
- Safeguard hotel assets through strong internal control systems
- Lead and develop the finance team across the cluster
- Support departmental managers in improving financial awareness and achieving KPIs
- Utilise financial systems and technology to analyse real-time data and generate insights
- Support sustainability initiatives and ESG reporting where required
Requirements for a Cluster Financial Controller:
- Previous experience in a similar Financial Controller role, ideally within hospitality or retail
- Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
- Proven experience leading and developing finance teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong internal control awareness and sound knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Professional qualification or part-qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
