The Company

Our client is an established and growing FMCG distribution business operating across wholesale and retail channels in Ireland. The company manages a high-volume product range and operates a busy warehouse and delivery function supporting business and retail customers nationwide.

The Role

We are recruiting an experienced Warehouse & Transport Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a fast-paced distribution centre based in Dublin 12.

This role is responsible for managing warehouse operations, coordinating delivery logistics, and leading operational teams to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfilment.

This is a hands-on operational leadership role within a dynamic FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Oversee goods-in, storage, picking and dispatch
• Ensure accurate stock control and inventory management
• Manage workflow planning and daily operational priorities
• Monitor productivity and operational efficiency
• Ensure food safety and compliance standards are maintained

Transport & Delivery

• Coordinate daily delivery schedules
• Oversee route planning and driver allocation
• Monitor delivery performance and resolve issues
• Support efficient vehicle utilisation

Team Leadership

• Supervise warehouse and delivery teams
• Allocate tasks and manage daily output
• Provide coaching and performance management
• Promote safe and efficient working practices

Operational Oversight

• Track performance metrics including stock accuracy and delivery timelines
• Work cross-functionally with sales and customer service teams
• Identify practical process improvements
• Maintain Health & Safety compliance

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse or logistics management
• Experience in FMCG, food distribution or high-volume stock environments
• Experience managing warehouse and transport operations
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced setting
• Working knowledge of warehouse or logistics systems
• Full clean driving licence
• Work authorisation in Ireland

Desirable

• Reach Forklift Licence
• Experience in multi-channel distribution environments
