Temporary Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant Required

We are looking for Kitchen Porters to work on a temporary/relief basis through our agency, in Limerick and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be a reliable individual, with the ability to work in on their own initiative in busy working environments. If you are looking for a flexible work schedule with diverse posts day to day, then this is the role for you. Hours’ availability may vary, but typically work is available between Monday to Friday and the shifts are generally 7:00am -3:00pm. No weekend shifts available, so need monday-friday availability.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy daytime, Monday-Friday work and are looking to have control over their own schedule through a flexible working arrangement.

Candidates will have a dedicated consultant to manage their schedule, who will strive to place candidates in roles where they can excel and develop their skills.

Responsibilities and duties

• General cleaning of the kitchen and equipment and keeping to a high standard environment.
• Assisting in the preparing of dishes
• Awareness of general hygiene and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy.
• Flexibility with hours.
• Previous kitchen experience.

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to commute for shifts starting as early as 7am
• Ability to work under pressure
• Have strong organizational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility
• Valid work permits to work full-time in Ireland
• Manual handling and Food Safety certificates would be an advantage but not essential as we can provide this
