Structures Foreman

Our client is an established Head Contractor with a stellar reputation for delivering landmark commercial and residential projects across Ireland. Known for their commitment to quality and engineering excellence, they are currently seeking an experienced Structures Foreman to join their team and lead works on high-profile developments.

This role is ideal for a highly organised leader who thrives on coordination and has the confidence to drive structural phases on busy, large-scale construction sites.

Key Activities

  • Site Supervision: Oversee day-to-day supervision of structural elements (RC frames, steelwork, and groundworks).
  • Team Coordination: Manage subcontractors and direct labor to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and strictly to specification.
  • Safety & Quality: Implement and monitor site safety procedures in line with company and statutory requirements.
  • Technical Review: Review drawings, plans, and technical details; proactively report any discrepancies or issues.
  • Project Synergy: Work closely with the Site Manager, Engineers, and the wider project team to maintain smooth project delivery.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and daily updates.

Experience & Requirements

  • Proven Background: Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Foreman or General Foreman role, with a heavy focus on structural works.
  • Project History: A track record of successfully delivering structural phases on medium-to-large commercial or residential projects in Ireland.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in reinforced concrete (RC), steel structures, and temporary works.
  • Leadership: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a commitment to high standards of workmanship.
  • Must have full legal authorisation to work in Ireland.
