Job Title: Artic Truck Driver (Category CE Licence)

Location: Kilcohan, Waterford

Salary: €36,660 per annum plus subsistence
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Role Type: TPN Muli-Drop Routes OR Straight Run Routes

We are currently seeking X2 reliable and experienced Artic Truck Driver (CE Licence) to join the Transport Department for a a well-established logistics and supply chain company based in Waterford.
This role offers stable, Monday to Friday work, with 2 weekend shifts a month and long-term career prospects.

The successful candidates will report directly to the Transport Manager and will play a key role in ensuring the safe, timely, and compliant delivery and collection of goods.

Key Responsibilities

– Safely operate a rigid truck in compliance with all road traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
– Carry out daily deliveries and collections in a safe and timely manner
– Conduct daily vehicle, load, and safety checks prior to departure
– Follow planned routes as directed by transport planners
– Load and unload vehicles safely and return goods to designated bays
– Complete all required paperwork accurately, including PODs, consignment notes, and driver app updates
– Maintain a high standard of vehicle care, equipment use, and personal presentation
– Communicate effectively with planners regarding delays, additional collections, or route changes
– Report vehicle defects or safety concerns immediately to management

Qualifications & Requirements

– Valid HGV Artic Drivers Licence (Category CE Licence)
– Clean driving record
– Proven experience operating and maintaining commercial trucks (rigid vehicle experience preferred)
– Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws
– Good time management and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and manage daily delivery schedules
– Strong attention to detail, particularly with delivery paperwork and inspections
