We are working with a large manufacturing client based in County Roscommon who are looking to hire someone to manage the administration of their engineering stores.

The role will suit someone with experience in administration, purchasing, stock management within an engineering environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively maintaining stock levels including managing supplier lead times and ordering.
  • Work closely with engineers to understand their requirements nd ensure that adequate stock of spare parts are sufficient at all times.
  • Inspect incoming goods to ensure that they meet the needs required.
  • Conduct audits, and stock reconciliation to ensure stock accuracy.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards.

Requirements:

  • 3 years + of experience in management of stock levels
  • Good technical understanding and ability to learn engineering terms relevant to the clients business.
  • Excellent communicator with business level fluency in English
  • Resident in Ireland with the right to work unrestricted – sponsorship cannot be provided.
