Job Title: SOC Manager – Security Operations Centre
Location: Dublin, Ireland | Salary: €59,417 | Contract: Fixed-Term until Dec 2027
About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced SOC Manager to lead Security Operations Centre services for a key local government client. You’ll manage SOC/SIEM providers, implement threat intelligence, monitor performance, and report to governance boards. This role blends hands-on technical oversight with leadership, ensuring critical systems are secure and resilient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead SOC/SIEM service delivery and manage provider performance.
- Monitor KPIs, EPS rates, and incident response effectiveness.
- Integrate threat intelligence feeds (e.g., MISP) into SOC operations.
- Develop and maintain SOC monitoring capabilities and governance processes.
- Report to Programme Boards and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Oversee policies, procedures, and team performance.
- Support budgeting, procurement, and operational planning.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience managing SOC operations or security services.
- Knowledge of SIEM, threat intelligence platforms, and security monitoring.
- Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Experience managing KPIs and reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent organisation, communication, and team leadership skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with public procurement and Dynamic Purchase Schemes (DPS).
- Technical background in ICT or cybersecurity.
