Job Title: Chef de Partie
Location: Co. Sligo
Role Type: Full-time
Reports To: Head Chef / Sous Chef
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie on behalf of a prestigious hospitality venue in Co. Sligo. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and skilled chef to take ownership of a kitchen section within a high-end culinary operation. The role involves delivering consistently high standards across fine dining, weddings, and large-scale events while working as part of a professional and dynamic kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within your assigned section
- Ensure all food meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation
- Maintain attention to detail across all services, including à la carte dining, weddings, and events
- Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with menu development, tastings, and seasonal planning
- Supervise, train, and support junior kitchen team members as required
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
- Monitor stock levels for your section, minimising waste and supporting cost control
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation
- Communicate effectively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie
- Background in a fine dining, hotel, or high-end restaurant environment is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of classical and modern cooking techniques
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP standards
- Positive, professional attitude with a strong team-focused approach
