Job Title: Chef de Partie

Location: Co. Sligo

Reports To: Head Chef / Sous Chef


About the Role:

We are currently recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie on behalf of a prestigious hospitality venue in Co. Sligo. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and skilled chef to take ownership of a kitchen section within a high-end culinary operation. The role involves delivering consistently high standards across fine dining, weddings, and large-scale events while working as part of a professional and dynamic kitchen team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within your assigned section
  • Ensure all food meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation
  • Maintain attention to detail across all services, including à la carte dining, weddings, and events
  • Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with menu development, tastings, and seasonal planning
  • Supervise, train, and support junior kitchen team members as required
  • Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene regulations at all times
  • Monitor stock levels for your section, minimising waste and supporting cost control
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation
  • Communicate effectively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie
  • Background in a fine dining, hotel, or high-end restaurant environment is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of classical and modern cooking techniques
  • Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP standards
  • Positive, professional attitude with a strong team-focused approach
