Rigid truck driver

Job description

Noel Group are currently looking for a Rigid Truck driver (C License) with HIAB (lorry-mounted crane) experience for work in South Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a rigid truck safely and efficiently in accordance with road traffic laws
• Load and unload materials using a HIAB (lorry-mounted crane)
• Carry out daily vehicle and crane safety checks, reporting defects promptly
• Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely
• Deliver goods to customer sites on time and in a professional manner
• Complete delivery paperwork, logbooks, and any electronic records accurately
• Adhere to all health & safety, lifting, and company procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of the vehicle and equipment
• Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers and site personnel

Requirements:

• A good knowledge of construction and building materials is preferable
• Full C driving licence with no penalty points
• Must have a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Card
• Must have a digital tachograph card
• HIAB / Lorry Loader certificate advantageous
• Proven experience operating a HIAB crane safely advantageous
• Good understanding of load securing and lifting operations
• Strong awareness of health and safety regulations
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
