Store Manager | Retail Grocery | North County Dublin
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager to join a professional team of retail managers in one of our large, modern supermarkets in Dublin. The successful candidate will lead and manage all aspects of store operations, ensuring high standards in customer care, fresh food, and team performance.
This is a full-time position working an average of 45 hours per week, 5 days over 7, including weekends and public holidays. You will be assigned a store based on your skills and experience, managing a team of approximately 90-100 staff across all departments.
Main Duties:

Overall management of all store operations

Leading and motivating the store management team

Working closely with senior leadership on store performance and strategic plans

Monitoring and managing store financials and KPIs
-
Staff training, development, and performance management
-
Conducting team meetings and managing departmental objectives
-
Ensuring compliance with all industry legislation and company policies
-
Delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels
-
Maintaining a professional store presentation at all times
-
Stock management and control
-
HACCP management and food safety compliance
-
Managing health & safety procedures within the store
Requirements:
-
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Store Manager in a large supermarket
-
Previous experience in Super Valu is advantageous but not essential

Strong knowledge of store financial reports, sales data, and KPIs
-
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
-
Strong people management and team development skills
-
Knowledge of fresh foods and HACCP principles
-
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Fluent in English, both written and spoken

Flexible to work early starts, late finishes, weekends, and public holidays
