Hotel Receptionist

4★ Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare

We are currently recruiting an experienced, professional, and enthusiastic Hotel Receptionist to join the front desk team of a well-established 4-star hotel in Leixlip, Co. Kildare. This role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to develop their career within a busy and popular hotel environment.

Main Duties:

  • Managing guest check-ins and check-outs

  • Completing general reception administration duties and reports

  • Handling and directing all incoming calls to the appropriate hotel departments

  • Liaising with the housekeeping team regarding room status and guest requests

  • Managing reservations and booking enquiries

  • Delivering excellent customer service to guests at all times

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role within a 3 or 4-star hotel (desirable but not essential)

  • Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Fluent English, both written and spoken

  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and quick to learn

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Flexibility to work a combination of early and late shifts
