HR Business Partner
We are working with an international manufacturing company who are looking to hire a HR Business Partner to support a fully unionised site.
This is a critical role within a lean, collaborative HR team and will suit an HR professional with strong industrial relations and union engagement experience in Ireland, who enjoys working close to the business and senior leadership.
The Role
The successful candidate will take ownership of union and employee relations activity on site, while also contributing more broadly as a generalist HR Business Partner.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day relationships with trade unions
- Leading and supporting collective bargaining processes
- Handling complex IR/ER matters, both individual and collective
- Representing the business in WRC and Labour Court-related matters
- Supporting the implementation of HR strategy at site level
- Partnering with operational leaders to provide pragmatic HR advice
- Contributing across general HRBP activities as part of a small HR team
About You
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Senior HR professional
- Strong background in industrial relations within a unionised environment
- Experience managing collective bargaining and third-party bodies (e.g. WRC)
- Confidence working with senior leaders and operational teams
