We are currently recruiting for an experienced Duty Manager on behalf of a well-known hotel group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong supervisory experience who enjoys leading from the front and ensuring smooth day-to-day hotel operations.

Role Overview

The Duty Manager will oversee the running of the hotel during allocated shifts, ensuring an exceptional guest experience and maintaining high standards across all departments. This role requires confidence, professionalism, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Typical Shift Patterns:

• 7:00am – 3:00pm

• 1:00pm – 9:00pm

• 3:00pm – 11:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations across Front Office, Accommodation, Food & Beverage, and public areas.

• Maintain consistent standards of cleanliness, service, hygiene, and overall guest experience.

• Act as the senior manager on duty – leading the team, resolving guest issues, and handling check-in/out queries or complaints.

• Support F&B operations, events, and functions when required.

• Work closely with department managers (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Maintenance) to ensure strong communication and appropriate staffing levels.

• Assist with supervising and training staff, promoting high service standards and hotel policies.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous supervisory or managerial experience within a hotel setting (1-2 years+ ideal).

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

• Flexible to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.

• Committed to high service standards, hygiene, and guest satisfaction.

• Willing to support various departments when needed.
