The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for an experienced Operations Manager in Galway. The Operations Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of hotel operations, ensuring service excellence across all departments. This role is central to the property’s ongoing success, focusing on operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and strong team leadership.Our client is a highly reputable hotel known for its outstanding guest service, modern facilities, and strong commitment to quality. The hotel offers a collaborative environment where innovation, service standards, and people development are core priorities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations across all hotel departments, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.

Lead and support department managers in F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services.

Maintain and enhance guest satisfaction through continuous service improvement.

Implement and monitor operational standards, SOPs, and quality controls.

Drive team performance through leadership, coaching, and performance management.

Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and KPI monitoring.

Assist with staff scheduling, recruitment, training, and development.

Ensure full compliance with health & safety, fire regulations, hygiene laws, and company policies.

Liaise closely with senior management to support the hotel’s strategic and commercial objectives.

Manage guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally and efficiently.

Contribute to event planning, coordination, and overall operational support for functions and conferences.
Requirements

Proven experience in an Operations Manager or senior hotel leadership role.

Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a hands-on managerial approach.

Financial awareness and experience with budgets, forecasting, and cost controls.

Must be living in Ireland with the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.
