Job Title: F&B Operations Manager

Location: Cork, Ireland

Role Type: Full-time, Permanent

Reports To: General Manager


About the Role:

Our client, a leading hotel group based in Cork, is seeking an experienced and dynamic F&B Operations Manager to oversee the Food & Beverage function across their property. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role offers an excellent opportunity for a driven hospitality professional to lead a talented team, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and contribute to the continued success of a well-established hotel brand.

The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership and financial acumen with a genuine passion for service excellence and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business plans, sales strategies, and promotional initiatives to maximise revenue and enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee all F&B outlets, ensuring consistent quality, service, and compliance with brand standards.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage departmental budgets and drive profitability through effective cost control.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the F&B team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Collaborate with HR on recruitment, training, and staff development.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, HACCP, and hygiene regulations.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef, Sales & Marketing, and other key stakeholders to optimise offerings and guest experiences.
  • Act as Duty Manager when required, representing the hotel with professionalism and confidence.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven track record in F&B management within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on motivation and development.
  • Commercially astute with excellent financial and analytical abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of F&B operations, service standards, and current industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible, proactive, and capable of performing in a fast-paced environment.
