The Noel Group is proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a Head Chef in Co. Clare.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a culinary team in one of Ireland’s most scenic regions, driving a food offering that blends creativity, tradition, and exceptional quality.

Our client’s food philosophy is simple: celebrate local produce, seasonal flavours, and creative cooking. Guests can enjoy a variety of dining experiences including: Fine dining in the Restaurant, Casual bites in the Bar, Wood-fired pizzas, Fresh bakes from the in-house bakery, Large-scale banquets and weddings

As Head Chef, you will also have the autonomy to work closely with and select local suppliers, further strengthening strong community links and showcasing the best of the Burren and West of Ireland’s produce.

The Role

  • Leading and inspiring the kitchen team to deliver consistent, high-quality dining experiences across multiple outlets.

  • Designing, developing, and delivering menus that reflect creativity, seasonality, and local flavours.

  • Managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including stock control, food safety, cost management, and scheduling.

  • Overseeing large-scale banqueting and weddings, ensuring excellence in both quality and presentation.

  • Building and maintaining supplier relationships, particularly with local producers.

  • Coaching and mentoring junior chefs, fostering growth and development within the team.

  • Working collaboratively with senior management to ensure food operations align with the overall guest experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef in a high-volume, quality-driven hospitality environment.

  • Strong background in both fine dining and large-scale banqueting.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

  • Passion for local produce, sustainability, and culinary innovation.

  • Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and deliver profitability without compromising quality.

  • Must be living in Ireland and have the right to work in the Republic of Ireland.

  • Visa sponsorship or relocation packages are not provided.
