Hotel Sales Executive – 4-Star Hotel
Location: Co. Kildare
Type: Full-Time | 42.5 hours per week | Primarily Mon-Fri, with some weekend flexibility
About the Role
A well-established 4-star hotel in Leixlip is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join their team. The hotel is part of a larger Irish-owned group with a strong presence in both the hospitality and retail sectors. Known for its loyal guest base, strong community links, and modern amenities, this property offers an exciting opportunity for a sales professional looking to make their mark in the industry.
The ideal candidate will focus on driving new business, nurturing existing relationships, and increasing market share across weddings, corporate bookings, events, and leisure sales. You’ll also collaborate with the hotel’s marketing and revenue teams to help meet overall budget targets.
Key Responsibilities

Proactively follow up on all sales leads and enquiries

Arrange and conduct property site visits with prospective and existing clients

Maintain positive client relationships and manage feedback channels

Generate and submit weekly/monthly sales activity and performance reports

Monitor competitor activity and provide regular market updates

Organise and attend FAM trips, site inspections, and external trade events

Represent the hotel at networking functions, exhibitions, and promotional events

Liaise with the marketing team to maximise local marketing opportunities

Support database marketing efforts including mailshots and e-zines
-
Respond promptly to sales enquiries via phone and email, aiming to convert leads to bookings

Handle all necessary sales admin, including call follow-ups, CRM updates, and research
-
Develop and implement an annual sales activity plan

Work collaboratively with the hotel’s operations, marketing, and revenue teams to drive business goals
What You’ll Need

Proven experience in a hotel sales role

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Ability to manage a sales pipeline and work independently

Experience in planning and executing sales strategies

Attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities

Flexible and team-oriented approach

Willingness to attend events or work occasional weekends as needed
